Movie review:

The film displays the story of a Nawab (Jimmy Shergill) from Uttar Pradesh and his ambitious wife (Mahie Gill). The storeyline is the soul of interesting film, which has several twists and intrigue.

Nawab and his wife use to live in their ancestral palace but amidst serious financial crisis.

Despite of no concrete source of income, Nawab maintains his grand life style. Nawab also keeps a mistress to live up the life of royal family. However, his spouse has serious problem.

Deteriorating financial status and unable to meet expenses, Nawab starts contract killings and ties up with politicians in this regard. He campaigns for political parties but ends with empty hand on political front.

In the meantime, Nawabs rival group fields a notorious gangster Babloo (Randeep Hooda) as a driver of begum (Mahie Gill).

In this sequence of the film, Mahie has crossed her all previous bold avatar she did in Dev D and Not A Love Story. As Nawab keeps himself busy in his mistress and other works, Babloo and begum find more time to spend. Their closeness turns into passionate romance and physical relationship.

Fall in serious love with begum, Babloo confesses his real identity before nawab and begum. Here the real drama begins. The game of love and betrayal starts here.

Nawab uses gangster to eliminate his enemies to establish his unfulfilled supremacy in the area while begum wants her new lover to kill the mistress, to get back the attention of her hubby. On the other hand, ambitious Babloo kills mistress to get the begum back in his life and nawab’s power too.

To know what happens at the end, you have to book your show.  The director has successfully maintained the pace of the film. End is the key part of Sahib, Biwi aur Gangster.

The film deserves three and half rating points.
